I was privileged to work a couple days a week as a graphic designer for Adventure Christian Church while running Webinet Media for a year and a half. I thoroughly enjoyed working with such a great staff. Here are a few of the items designed. Webinet Media was hired for other projects such as Video, and Corporate Staff Head-shots. Each project challenged me in new ways and I grew as a designer.
The best part about doing graphics for Adventure Christian Church was designing such a wide variety of items for different ministries and events. The 20 year anniversary celebration of loving people one at a time was the largest project including: 20 year badge, the tri-fold time-line bulletin, banners, flyer, and gift certificate cards. Other projects were: business cards, programs, campus maps, mailers, weekly bulletins, prayer cards, and thank you notes.
A backdrop and lighting were brought to a room at Adventure Christian Church for two days to capture the staff in front of the camera. Fun action shots as well as professional head-shots were taken to use on the website. I enjoyed the challenge of capturing so many different personalities, skin colors that really did not enjoy being in front of the camera. It was rewarding to hear a few say “I have never had a photo taken that I liked of myself until now.”[/column]
